This traditional stone built terraced Lakeland cottage occupies a wonderful central setting commanding magnificent views over the surrounding mountains. In the absolute heart of this picturesque village on the village green this is somewhere to  escape, relax and soak up the many delights Grasmere has to offer.

Lounge The comfortable lounge with traditional living fire and oak floor has views of Silver Howe.

Dining Room. The dining area easily seats four and has views towards Arthur's Seat.

Kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has washing machine, dish washer, gas cooker, 2 fridges and all the usual appliances. There is a tumble drier and freezer in one of the substantial traditional stone and slate outbuildings.

Landing. The stairs lead to the fully carpeted first floor.

Bedroom One Facing over the village green, kingsize double bed with en-suite and digital TV.

Bedroom Two Two single beds with east views towards the fells and digital TV.

Bathroom Shower with WC.

Parking. Parking permit for one car at Wordsworth Hotel, about 100 metres from the house, throughout the year.

Heating. The house has full gas central heating and double glazing.

Wi Fi. Free

Outside. The small but secure yard to the rear gives access to the main outbuilding and the coal store. Garden furniture is provided.

Well behaved dogs are welcome. Grasmere is just so accessible for everything ther is no need to drive. Walks from the door in abundance and in every direction. The bus services are frequent and varied with easy access to Keswick to the north and Ambleside, Windermere and Kendal to the south. The bus stops on the other side of the green. It is little wonder they say Grasmere is the heart of the lakes.
